A NEW BOOK FROM KM HYPNOSIS
the pattern underneath
There is a particular kind of stuck that doesn't get written about much.
It isn't the stuck of someone who hasn't started. It isn't the stuck of someone in crisis.
It's the stuck of someone who has done the work, therapy, coaching, the books, the courses, the retreats, and who can feel, with a precision that is itself part of the problem, exactly which parts of their life are not yet free.
This book is for that reader.
The patterns keeping high-functioning people stuck do not yield to insight, willpower, or refined strategy, because those tools operate at the wrong layer of the mind. There is a different layer — the subconscious — which operates by its own rules, responds to its own kind of input, and is the actual location where the patterns live.
This layer can be reached. The access is teachable. The change available there is qualitatively different from the change available through conscious work.
The Pattern Underneath is the full treatment of how this works, why it works, and what you can do to begin working at this layer yourself.
If you've done the work and you're still stuck, the problem is not you
What the book covers
Part One — The Mechanism. The argument for why the patterns keeping smart people stuck don't yield to the methods those people usually reach for. Why conscious understanding and automatic behavior are produced by different systems. How patterns get built in the first place, and why they persist long after the conditions that produced them have ended.
Part Two — The Five Patterns. The five identity-level patterns that show up most often in the high-functioning people I work with. Always Healing. The Responsibility Trap. The Perfectionism Freeze. The Proving Pattern. The Visibility Block. Each pattern gets its own chapter — where it comes from developmentally, how it shows up at high levels of work, the cost it accumulates over a career, why the usual approaches don't reach it, and what actually moves it.
Part Three — What Actually Works. The methods that reach the layer where the patterns live. What the trance state is and why it matters. Three tools you can use on your own, with complete instructions for each: the Pattern Interrupt, the Body Scan, and the Subconscious Rewrite. An honest account of the ceiling of self-directed work — what these tools can and cannot do, and what becomes available beyond them.
The book closes with a chapter on what actually changes when the pattern moves. Not the dramatic version. The quiet, specific version that is what change at this layer actually feels like from the inside.
Who Should Read This
The Pattern Underneath is written for a specific reader. You are intelligent. You are accomplished. You have spent real time and money on your own development — therapy, coaching, the right books, the right podcasts, the retreats. You can articulate your patterns with precision. You know where they came from. You can predict, with uncomfortable accuracy, when they will fire next.
And they still fire.
If this is familiar, you are the reader this book was written for.
If you are at the beginning of your own inner work — if you haven't yet done therapy, haven't yet encountered the core concepts — this is not the right first book for you. It assumes you have already done the work that produces self-awareness. It is written for the next question, which is why the self-awareness isn't producing the change it was supposed to.

FAQ
Is this different from hypnotherapy? The book is not hypnosis. It is the framework that explains why hypnosis works, the diagnostic precision to identify which specific patterns are running, and the self-directed tools you can use to begin working at the subconscious layer without a practitioner. Readers who want to continue into supported hypnotic work can do so through The Lucid Hour or with a practitioner of their choice. The book stands on its own.
Will I need the subscription to benefit from the book? No. The book is complete in itself. The three tools it contains will produce real shifts if used consistently. Some readers move on to The Lucid Hour after reading; some don't. Either path is honest.
Can I read it if I'm already working with a therapist or practitioner? Yes. The book is not a replacement for therapeutic work. Many readers use it alongside existing work to go deeper at the subconscious layer specifically, which most therapy does not reach directly.
Is there a refund policy? If the book isn't what you expected within the first seven days, write to me and I'll refund your purchase. No questions. I'd rather refund a book than have it sit on someone's drive unread.
The Patterns Can Move
The work that produces that movement is not mysterious. It has been available for a long time. Most of the people who would most benefit from it never find it.
If you have been doing the work and hitting the ceiling, this is the book that describes what is on the other side of the ceiling — and how to begin crossing it.
