When Peace Feel Like Emptiness
There’s a moment after the breakthrough that no one talks about.
You’ve received what you asked for, the love, the peace, the success, and yet suddenly, something feels missing. The striving stops, and with it, you’ve also lost the rush, the structure, the familiar tension of pursuit.
I’ve heard from countless people through messages or comments who were intrigued by what happens after completing The Receiving Code.
One man told me he loved all of the changes he made as he upgraded himself and consequently, his relationships, but he said it was also the loneliest he had ever felt in his life.
One woman mentioned that she spent years working towards the perfect body, and she even reached it, and then she felt empty inside, to the extreme that she put the weight back on.
Another man landed his dream job, and then felt a quiet ache, and a gentle wondering if life had more to offer than just work.
Have you experienced something similar?
What they all shared was this: when you’ve spent years striving, rest can feel unsafe, and peace can register as emptiness.
Because when the nervous system no longer has something to chase, it hasn’t yet learned how to just be. The tension that once created purpose dissolves, and unless something new, and something nourishing, fills that space, the mind mistakes peace for nothingness.
But this “nothing” is not emptiness. It’s space, and it’s the exact space where new creation begins.
My new series, Becoming the Calm, is about learning to live in that space.
I’m not going to teach you to chase the next goal, but rather, to cultivate safety in stillness, creativity, and gratitude.
Over the next four sessions, we’ll retrain the body and mind to experience peace as fullness. Here are the upcoming themes:
The Beauty of the Unknown – Repattern your nervous system to see uncertainty as possibility.
Gratitude as Nourishment – Shift from the rush of striving to the calm chemistry of appreciation.
Play, Creativity, and Joyful Identity – Rebuild identity around expansion, curiosity, and joy.
Wholeness Without a Goal – Integrate peace and purpose into one steady rhythm.
Whether you’re just learning to rest or ready to deepen your practice, this work is for everyone, women, men, creatives, healers, leaders, and anyone ready to thrive in the in-between.
Because the goal was never just to arrive. The goal was to live fully once you arrived, and to cherish each moment, as you realize that you can keep the calm and the peace, as you continue to move from goal to goal.
Becoming the Calm begins next week inside The Lucid Hour.
If you’re ready for something new this week, you may be interested in Reclaiming Joy as a prelude to our next series.
If you’re not yet a member of the Lucid Hour, I invite you to join us. The Receiving Code is already inside the Lucid Library, or you may be interested in purchasing The Receiving Code on its own. If you’re inspired to go deeper, I also offer custom hypnotic audios.
I don’t normally run sales, but this Black Friday, I will offer something special if you’ve been thinking about purchasing any audio series from the store. There will also be a special announcement because all of this is leading up to the moment that you’re ready to use your voice, trust your ideas, and share your vision with the world, as we move from safety to expression, as you can finally feel the confidence to create from your truth.
Whether you’ve followed along with The Receiving Code or you’re brand new here, this next chapter is for you.
Because once you’ve learned to receive life fully, your next step is to let life hear you back.
